The calculator and guides are free. The site shows no ads, has no affiliate links and sets no cookies.
Source of revenue: quote requests
After a calculation, you can fill in an optional form to receive quotes. If you tick the consent box, we may forward your request to at most 2 RBQ-licensed contractors in your region. These companies may pay us a fixed amount per request forwarded. You pay nothing.
What this does not change
- The calculations, price ranges and rebate amounts do not depend on any partner: the same published method applies to everyone.
- No contractor can pay to change a result, a text or a recommendation.
- We do not sell or rent your information to anyone else, and we do not use it for advertising.
Partner installers
None at this time. When there are, we will name them here, with their region and RBQ licence number, which you can check on the RBQ website. As long as there is no partner in your region, we answer you ourselves and forward your request to no one.
Ads we buy
We sometimes buy ads in Google search results to make the calculator known. These ads only lead to our pages; we do not install heat pumps and do not promise any specific installer.
Our advice
Whatever the source, get at least 3 quotes and check each company's RBQ licence before signing.
